10-inch tablets are the most preferred ones by consumers because they are comfortable, compact and at the same offer big screen ideal for entertainment, browsing and watching videos. The good news is that you don’t need to spend lots of money to get one of these and what’s more with a good hardware set. Here is one example – Asus Memotab ME301T.

The 10-inch machine comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, run by a quad-core 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU

The 10-inch machine comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, run by a quad-core 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU at 1.2GHz frequency. Multitasking, playing high-definition videos and loading a few full-sized web pages is all well-handled by the core hardware components. 1GB of system memory is available to handle ongoing processes on board. For media entertainment this machine offers powerful performance, easily playing full HD format videos and even loading 3D games.

The LED-backlit screen delivers 1280×800 pixel resolution and a 170-degree viewing angle

The most important feature of tablets is the display. So let’s find out what this one has in store. Asus Memotab ME301T offers a 10.1-inch diagonal. It offers an excellent viewing experience thanks to the IPS panel. High brightness levels, vivid colors and wonderful sharpness. The LED-backlit screen delivers 1280×800 pixel resolution and a 170-degree viewing angle are combined to deliver an ultimate viewing comfort.
Built-in memory options are unfortunately limited to only a 16GB version. However, it can be quickly expanded via the microSD card slot. Mentioning one the interface components, we should also mention the micro USB port and the micro HDMI port which supports full 1080p output video playback.
Another thing that pleased us was the sound system on this 10-inch tablet.

The two stereo speakers’ performance is further enhanced thanks to the Sonicmaster technology. The sound quality is pretty good and surprisingly loud and clear. Maybe the only drawback is the fact the speakers are placed on the back which reduces the volume when on a flat surface. The interface also offers a 5MP camera unit on the back. You should not expect miracles from this one but it is okay to use it for video calls. The front lens offers 1.2MP but you’d better use it only when there is lots of light around.
The lithium-polymer battery inside the Memotab ME301T is a 5070mAh one which provides charge for around 8hours of intensive usage.
This 10-inch buddy runs Android 4.1 but is upgradable to Jelly Bean’s latest version. It comes in three colors – white, blue and pink.
