]Cameras are one of the most dynamically developing technological segments. This is especially the case with digital pocket point-and-shoots which have grown more professional and offer many handy features. Sony CyberShot TX30 is just another example.
This camera is waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof and dustproof
This tiny camera is not only an elegant representation of its class, but it also deserves out attention because of its toughness. It is supposed to serve travel and extreme sport enthusiasts to capture their most exciting moments as it not only fits any pocket but it is also waterproof to a depth of 33 feet, shockproof from falls up to 5 feet, freezeproof and dustproof as well.
Being that rugged is not its main advantage, Sony has bet on the good photo and video quality here. The 18.2 MP Exmor R CMOS sensor in combination with the Carl Zeiss optics deliver high definition images and 1080p video. The Steady Shot technology inside prevents blurriness and helps achieve sharp and crisp detail in every shot.

The focal length of the lens extends from 26-130mm. The Sony CyberSot TX30 is able to capture great macro images from a minimum distance of 0.10ft thanks to the special lens magnifying glass. Now usually the problem with macro photography is the lighting since the closer you get to the subject, the more you cast shadows on your object. This problem has been taken into account as the additional LED ring lights around the lens are active in macro mode to evenly illuminate every part of the composition.
What we found on the back of the camera is nothing but a huge 3.3 inch OLED display, sitting there all alone. No keys whatsoever are placed on the back, all menu setting and shooting modes are accessed directly from the touchscreen display.

The upper periphery line holds all the external shooting controls meaning an on/off switch, a shutter key, a direct movie key and a zoom control. The last one brings distant objects 5 times closer optically at a minimal quality loss and low noise levels.
The ultralight 0.30lb weight of this camera along with the extra thin profile of 15mm make this camera great choice for travel photography. The battery on board provides 630mAh power capacity.
The interface of the Sony Cybershot TX30 offers a Multi AV/USB 2 port, a memory card slot and a micro HDMI port to easily preview photos and videos on a big screen.
