We all know that technology development in recent years has boosted up the requirements to tech gadgets. For example, people no longer look for an ordinary phone, they look for something which specifications extend far beyond the ability to make phone calls. This is why more and more customers make their decision in favor of smart phones.
You probably wonder what Sony can surprise you with in their quite numerous family of the Xperia series. Well, no need to wonder anymore, the new Sony Xperia T is already here. And it is definitely a pretty serious competitor for the top place among Xperia members.

The glossy front makes the impression for even a larger display and the matted back surface make it easy to handle and operate with.

Sony Xperia T excels with its sleek design and smooth lines just like the other products from the family. The glossy front makes the impression for even a larger display and the matted back surface make it easy to handle and operate with. The phone body is massive with 67x129x9mm dimensions but still we find it pretty elegant, made of elastic polycarbonate.
The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich platform. The super-fast performance is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, backed by 1 GB of RAM.

The display is one of the many advantages of this phone. Sony has definitely succeeded in making your multimedia experience complete and pleasant. Xperia T provides a 4.6’’ LCD touchscreen with 16 million colors that bring an ultimate HD experience. Actually the Japanese band has used the Sony Bravia TV technology to boost the visual performance the phone. The huge display with 1280×720 resolution ensure a very enjoyable photo and video playback. To achieve that Sony has featured their own TimeScape skin which provides for you the flexibility to order and organize your home screen.

The 13 MP HD camera which we find on the back side of the headset is probably what we liked the most about this phone. It features autofocus and 16x digital zoom and captures valuable moments with great precision and crisp detail. Along with this, Xperia T will also help you record them in full 1080p HD video which, to be honest surprised us pleasantly. Among the special built-in camera functions are red-eye reduction, geotagging, smile detection and a self timer. You can also find a second 1.3 MP front-facing camera at 720p HD that will keep you connected to your family and friends via video calls. Most of you probably hate it when your phone camera fails to make a decent shot in low-light, well me too.

The 13 MP HD camera which we find on the back side of the headset is probably what we liked the most about this phone.

Here we are talking about a quite strong, pulsed LED flash which in complete darkness covers up to 5 meters but what we found pretty cool is that it’s also active when recording video. However the thing that disappointed us about the camera  was that for example if you want to shoot in the standard 16:9 aspect ratio then you will have to say goodbye to the 13 megapixels and shoot at 10MP.
Media is a basic part of Sony Xperia T. The multiple photo music and video applications that you can find in this phone make it an entertaining machine. Starting with Walkman music application and ending with gaming which is PlayStation certified. It means you can play most of the old PSOne games on Xperia T.
You get the phone with 16 GB of initial internal storage but in case you want to increase the memory capacity you can add a micro SD card. There is Micro USB v2.0 port on the side of the phone and it is also used as a charging port.  The battery is a standard Li-ion at 1 850mAh. This allows Sony Xperia T to provide up to 7 hours of talk time while, in stand-by mode, the time is up to 450 hours. Having fully charged your phone, you can enjoy around 16 hours listening to music and 5 hours video playback time.
