Toshiba AT300 is a 3G Android Tablet in the Sea of Windows 8

Hey guys, Android tablets are really becoming a rare jewel in this flood of Windows 8 tablets and smartphones. What is more tablets are definitely not the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the brand Toshiba. So that’s what is making it even more special. This is Toshiba AT300.

That is a 10.1 inch HD capacitive touchscreen with 1280×800 resolution and IPS technology

 The devise comes in a 10.1 inch dimensions and at a pretty light weight at the same time – only 600 grams and an extremely thin profile – only 8.95mm. The textured aluminum surface on the back contributes to the comfortable grip. Gorilla Glass protects the front panel making it durable and resistant to scratches. That is a 10.1 inch HD capacitive touchscreen with 1280×800 resolution and IPS technology.
The display panel delivers 149ppi pixel density and supports multitouch gestures. It provides wide viewing angles and an adaptive display technology that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast according to the environmental conditions. The screen is definitely something one would like about this tablet: the contrast, brightness and colors achieve an excellent overall performance.

Maybe the most interesting feature of this tablet is the fact that it features a 4-plus-1 mobile quad core processor at 1.3 GHz. The fifth additional core is a low-power one as to handle ordinary processer like browsing and playing apps and as the same time is a battery saver.
The full quad core CPU comes in charge for the more demanding applications. It is accompanied by a high-performance 12-core NVIDIA graphics processor. The system memory on board here is 1GB. The performance of the machine during the tests was great, there were no lags or delays even during the multitask tests with a few applications, high-definition video and many browsing windows open.

On of the most important connectivity features of AT300 is that there is a configuration which supports 3G.

 The connection with other devices is established through a full-sized SD card reader, a micro HDMI and a micro USB 2.0 ports. There is a docking connector on the bottom edge of the device. On of the most important connectivity features of AT300 is that there is a configuration which supports 3G.
The Li-polymer battery on board provides around 7 hours of independent use.
There is a 2MP video call camera on the front and a second 5MP camera. It is equipped with an LED flash, auto focus and many interesting effects. The camera captures video in 720p quality. The built-in stereo speakers deliver a high-quality sound.
The memory options for Toshiba AT300 are 16/32/64GB.
